For over 30 years VRAM has test pumped solids and sludge. It is necessary to test pump solids and sludge to understand their pumping characteristics.
When a material has not been pumped by VRAM we ask for a sample of the material. If it can be pumped, we offer test pumping of the material. We invite you to attend the test. We video tape the test and use a PLC to log the pressures along the pipe and analyze the log with a PC to understand the material behavior in the pump and in the pipe. We prepare a test report with video and pressure drop analysis for you. Only when we meet the requirements of your application will we offer you a pumping solution.
If a material is pumpable, we add that material and it's pumping characteristics to our pumpable materials database. Then we will offer pumping solutions for that material.
